Put Traffic Jams Behind You

Riding a bicycle is a fun, healthy and inexpensive way to get to campus. You don't have to be an Olympic athlete to get to class or work. There are over 2,900 free bike parking spaces in racks all over campus.

UCLA BruinBikeSmart

Similar to traffic school, BruinBikeSmart allows cyclists who received a moving violation citation issued by a UCPD Officer to have their citation dismissed by completing an online bike safety course and paying a $75 course fee.


Earn-A-Bike Program

Join the Earn-A-Bike program and receive a free $400 bicycle package from Helen’s Cycles in Westwood. Each package includes a bike as well as a light, lock set, helmet and Bruin Commuter Club welcome kit.


Employee Commuter Bike Loaner Program

Don't have a set of working wheels? No problem! UCLA employees are eligible to receive free two-week bike rentals. Rentals include helmet, u-lock, lights and a rack pack!


UCLA Commuter Group Rides

Join one of the many commuter group rides that comes to campus. Meet fellow cyclists and make your commute safer and easier with a fun new route!


Rent a Bike from the UCLA Bike Library

Need a bike for a few months? UCLA students can rent bicycles from the Bike Library for only $65 per quarter. Please contact the UCLA Bike Shop to rent your bike today.
