This is a free service run by the Community Service Officers (CSO) and operates under the supervision of the UCLA Police Department. Evening Vans provide:

  • Safe, reliable, evening campus transportation
  • Transportation between campus buildings, on-campus housing and nearby residential areas
  • FREE transportation to all students, staff, faculty and visitors
  • Service Vans are driven by Community Service Officers (CSOs) who carry two-way radios providing a direct link to the UCLA Police Department

Services & Routes

  • Available Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters
  • Monday - Thursday, 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. (excluding Holidays and breaks).
  • Evening Vans will arrive at each stop approximately every 15 - 20 minutes.
  • To maintain the integrity of our schedule, Evening Vans will stop at designated stop locations only: Ackerman Turnaround, De Neve Turnaround, Perloff Hall (west side), Young Drive East (across the street and west of Murphy Hall), and Hilgard and Manning (northeast corner).
  • The CSO Program has wheelchair accessible vehicles available for the Evening Van Program. This vehicle provides the same coverage as the other vehicles.
